Team Twisted supports

"Women on the Move Against Cancer"

at the Ace Cafe, 21st August '05

Sunday 21st August 2005 was "Ladies Day" at The Ace Cafe in west London. Ladies with bikes and cars were invited to attend and display their vehicles in aid of a "WOMAC", a charity with a long history of supporting Cancer research organisations.

Team Twisted grabbed to chance to show Hell's Belle and try and raise funds for the charity as well as raise awareness of Drag Racing and The Wild Bunch.

We arrived early and setup for what turned out to be a fantastic day. Little did we know that The Ace was also a meeting and return point for what was to be a very large bike cruise into central London. This ride was to show unity against the acts of Terrorism that shook London last month. During the afternoon the show cars moved to the opposite side of the Ace to make room for literally hundreds of bikes as they returned from the cruise. We spent the day chatting about our favourite subject, and answering the statutory questions about power, tyres, fuel and parachutes.

Pooky and Penny also got to meet Bob, Ivan and Co... and had a photo taken with their new found drag racing buddies.
